Modern Slavery Statement
Last Updated: June 13, 2025
At Xperiensys Limited, we're absolutely committed to doing business responsibly and ethically. This means we have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking in all its forms. We firmly believe that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, and we're dedicated to making sure our operations and supply chains are completely free from these dreadful practices.
This voluntary slavery and human trafficking statement is made in connection with section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. This statement covers the financial year ending 31 March 2025 and sets out the steps we're taking to combat modern slavery.
Our Commitment
We recognise the serious issues that modern slavery and human trafficking pose globally. Xperiensys Limited is fully committed to upholding the principles of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015. We expect the same high standards from everyone we work with – our employees, our subsidiaries, our contractors, and our suppliers.
Our Business and Supply Chains
Xperiensys Limited is a technology consultancy company that provides advisory, design, development, maintenance, support and managed services. Our operations are primarily based in the UK and India, but we do operate globally.
Our supply chain generally involves software providers, IT services companies, professional services, office supplies, and administrative support.
Our Indian Subsidiary and Contractors:
Parts of our operations may involve outsourcing work to our subsidiary in India, or partners elsewhere, and we also use independent contractors on occasion. This extends our supply chain, and we take our responsibilities very seriously in these areas.
Our Policies on Modern Slavery
We have robust policies in place that reflect our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships. These policies specifically include measures to ensure modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place anywhere in our own business or in any part of our supply chains. This is a core part of our staff handbook and our contracting agreements.
Due Diligence and Risk Assessment
We're proactive in identifying and addressing potential risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains.
Employee Vetting: Every single person we hire, whether directly or through our Indian subsidiary, goes through a careful vetting process. This includes verifying their identity, right to work, and ensuring they are paid fairly and have safe working conditions. We check references and confirm employment terms.
Contractor Vetting: Similarly, every contractor we engage is thoroughly vetted. We carefully assess their legitimacy and ensure their practices align with our ethical standards and commitment to preventing modern slavery. This helps us ensure that there are absolutely no instances of modern slavery in our direct labour or our extended supply chain.
Supply Chain Assessment: For our broader supply chain, we aim to understand who we're working with. While our supply chains are not typically deemed "high risk" in terms of forced labour (as they largely involve professional and IT services), we remain vigilant. We engage with reputable suppliers and, where appropriate, include clauses in our contracts requiring compliance with anti-slavery laws.
Training and Awareness
We believe that awareness is key. Our relevant employees, especially those involved in recruitment, procurement, and managing our subsidiary and contractors, are made aware of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking. This ensures they understand how to identify and report any concerns.
Reporting Concerns
We foster an open environment where employees and stakeholders feel comfortable raising concerns. We have internal reporting mechanisms in place, and we encourage anyone who suspects modern slavery within our operations or supply chains to report it immediately, without fear of reprisal.
Review of This Statement
This Modern Slavery Statement will be reviewed and updated annually. We're always looking for ways to improve our processes and strengthen our commitment to eradicating modern slavery.
This statement has been approved by the Board of Directors of Xperiensys Limited.
